Sailing In Hawaii

The third day of our journey found us begging to go sailing on the America II, a racing vessel from the America Cup! We wanted to experience this thrilling ride but mother nature was not cooperating. We were in the middle of a down pour, the sky was black, but off in the distance over ocean the sun was shinning and the sky was blue. The captain said, "let's go for the ride!" Off we went, heading to the blue skies. The wind took to the sails and we flew through the water with the sail boat laying on its side. Daughter 1 was riding low on the boat getting drenched by the water sweeping over the side. Daughter 2 was holding on for dear life! I loved every minute of the ride. We were greeted by a rainbow as we sailed back to Lahania.
